Healthy, Active and Hiding

Hi Everyone!

Today was a really fun day when it comes to baby land. Although I am feeling quite under the weather, from the looks of it the baby feels just fine! We had our 20 week ultrasound just a little while ago and spent an hour watching it move, yawn, kick, flip around and just about have it’s own little party in my belly. It was wonderful. The Dr. doing the ultrasound said that as far as she could tell, the baby had all its parts and seemed as healthy as can be. Kyle and I are really happy. 🙂

But, because this baby seems to enjoy having its umbilical cord between its legs (even with all of its movement) she would not tell us the gender. She said she was pretty sure, but could not find a good enough image to confirm it. Earlier, our Doctor said that if they were not able to tell us the gender today, that she would use her much smaller ultra sound machine to give it a go at our next appointment in March. So, there is still a possibility of finding out before the birth! Mainly, we are just happy that this baby looked healthy and has some active traits of its father! Maybe this child will give her/his daddy a run for his money when it comes to energy– I know I sure don’t!

Anyway they were able to give us some images on a cd and so I am putting them below. One is of the feet and the other is an okay profile shot… I’m glad I can share this with all of you!
